  1. At the adhd conference last year, I spoke to a specialist around medication and hormones. There is no specific guidance I can give here aside from referring to a psychiatrist because I do not have a medical right to do so. What I can do is make sure you have some guidance or resources to explore. It’s very frustrating to hear some psychiatrists may not be widely knowledgeable about the impacts of medication and your wider health. We know PMDD and PMS very heavily impact us adhd adults more. So I hope these links and information have a validating effect. Your experience is yours and I have heard of psychiatrists who are more in tune with adhd. No guarantees again, but some details of alternatives will be added here.
